Sage Green Regency Wedding Styling at Walton View Hotel

A Soft, Romantic Fairy-tale by Love Stories Events

There is a certain kind of wedding atmosphere that makes a bride pause for just a moment…
A quiet breath before she walks down the aisle.
Soft candlelight flickering across tables.
Gentle harp music floating through the air.
The feeling that everything around her has been thoughtfully, beautifully created for this one day.

This sage green Regency-inspired wedding editorial at Walton View Hotel was designed to capture exactly that feeling.

Styled by Love Stories Events, the concept blended The Thea Collection and The Amelia Collection, creating a romantic palette of soft whites, sage greens, olive tones and botanical textures. Every detail was layered to create a space that feels calm, elegant and deeply emotional — the kind of setting that makes brides feel completely at ease as they step into one of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

A Grand Regency Arrival

There is something undeniably magical about a horse-drawn carriage waiting outside your venue.

It transforms the day into something more than a wedding — it becomes a story. A moment that feels lifted from a period romance. As the carriage rolls gently towards the entrance, it creates a sense of anticipation, softness and quiet grandeur.

For a bride, it’s not just an arrival.
It’s a memory she will carry forever.

The Ceremony: A Botanical Heart Moment

The ceremony centred around the Botanical Heart Arch, a signature installation from Love Stories Events. Overflowing with soft white florals and natural greenery, the arch created a romantic focal point for the couple’s vows.

Paired with the Thea broken floral pillars and soft candlelight, the space felt intimate, elegant and deeply romantic.

This is the moment every bride dreams of — walking towards the person she loves, framed by soft florals, gentle light and the quiet presence of her closest people.

The Morning: Soft, Emotional Beginnings

The morning of the wedding is filled with soft, quiet emotions.
Laughter with bridesmaids.
A moment alone with a veil.
The gentle excitement that builds as the day begins to unfold.

These soft sage tones and delicate textures created a calm, romantic atmosphere — the perfect backdrop for those intimate, unforgettable moments before the ceremony.

Brides in Regency drama

The bridal gown, Grace, perfectly echoed the romance of the Regency-inspired styling. This beautiful ball gown featured delicate 3D floral detailing scattered across both the bodice and skirt, gently drawn into a flattering V-neck silhouette. Layers of petticoats added a sense of volume and movement, creating that signature softness and drama, while the low back and subtle puff sleeves continued the floral detailing for an effortlessly romantic finish. Grace was created and supplied by Patricia Barclay Bridals, whose Ilkley boutique is known for beautifully considered gowns with timeless elegance.

Bridesmaids in Soft Sage Elegance

Flowing sage green dresses brought movement and softness to the ceremony. The palette felt gentle and romantic, complementing the botanical styling and echoing the natural tones throughout the space.

Every detail was designed to feel cohesive, calming and elegant — so that nothing distracted from the emotion of the moment.

Thea Meets Amelia: A Romantic Reception Vision

This editorial combined two of Love Stories Events’ signature collections:

The Thea Collection

  • Soft white florals
  • Natural greenery
  • Romantic, timeless styling

The Amelia Collection

  • Sage and olive tones
  • Botanical textures
  • Patterned table linens

Together, they created a layered, editorial aesthetic that felt both classic and contemporary — the perfect balance for modern brides who love timeless romance.

Fairytale Candlelit Tablescapes

As the evening light softened, the reception space began to glow.

Patterned botanical linens formed the base, layered with:

  • White floral centrepieces
  • Olive and eucalyptus greenery
  • Glass cylinders filled with candlelight
  • Elegant gold accents

The tables felt warm, romantic and softly illuminated — the kind of setting where guests linger, stories are shared, and memories are quietly made.

This is where the atmosphere truly comes alive, and where brides often say,
“This feels exactly how I imagined it.”

Stationery, Signage and the Finishing Touches

Stationery and signage by Happy Everly After added the final romantic layer. Elegant typography and botanical motifs ensured every detail felt cohesive and thoughtfully designed.

These finishing touches are what transform a space from simply beautiful into something truly unforgettable.

The Cake: A Botanical Regency Statement

The cake echoed the styling perfectly, with soft sage tiers and delicate white botanical detailing — a refined centrepiece that felt elegant and romantic.

Romantic Portraits Beneath the Heart Arch

Beneath the floral heart arch, the couple shared quiet moments together — the kind that feel soft, emotional and deeply personal.

This is the heart of the day.
Not just the décor.
Not just the styling.
But the feeling it creates.
