Terms & Conditions

Acceptance Of Your Booking

We accept this booking subject to us confirming to you in writing that we can supply chair covers and/or linen that fit your venue's furniture and any other styling items that you require.

The costs within this quote are based on market value and we will try our best to source products at the lowest price. Should there be a significant increase in market value at the time of your wedding/event, we will discuss options with you in advance.

Contract And Payments

A deposit will be payable by you to guarantee your booking as set out in our quotation. Your contract date will be the date that we receive your written acceptance of our quotation or, if this is not received, the date that your deposit is received into our bank. You have a 14-day cooling off period which begins the day after the contract date unless you have expressly requested that the services commence prior to this date and have waived your cancellation right. After this time your deposit is non-refundable. You agree to pay the balance of the contract value as set out in our final quotation no later than 8 weeks prior to the event. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfil your booking in the event that payment has not been received by this date. Any additional items ordered by you after payment of your final balance must be paid for at least 7 days before your event otherwise we will be unable to provide these items.

Variations To Your Booking

So that we can reserve and order items for your styling, we will need to finalise your booking 8 weeks before the event. If you do need to make changes to your booking less than 8 weeks before then please make your request in writing, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate these and amendments can only be accepted after this time at the sole discretion of the stylist. We reserve the right to refuse a reduction in your booking value if this is requested with less than 8 weeks to go until the event. Please be aware that any reductions made to the booking which are made with more than 8 weeks to go can only be made up to a maximum of 10% of the total booking value.

"On the day" variations

Please be aware that if on the day of your wedding or event there are differences to the previously agreed and confirmed final details/guest numbers and you have not notified your Love Stories Events stylist within at least 6 weeks of the booking date then additional stock cannot be guaranteed as your Love Stories Events stylist will have a limited amount of spares on site if any. In the event that a change in numbers or details means that the original design agreed will no longer work, your Love Stories Events stylist reserves the right to make the decision on the day as to the best way to manage the last-minute change.

Fresh Flowers

As fresh flowers are a living product, there are occasions where a particular flower may not be available. Every effort is made to source the requested flowers, but at certain times, a suitable replacement may need to be used.

Cancellation Of Your Booking

Your business is very important to us however we understand that unavoidable issues can arise which may lead you to requesting a cancellation of this booking in full. You may cancel the booking 8 weeks before the event; any money you have paid will be refunded to you minus your deposit which is non-refundable. In the event of a booking being cancelled less than 8 weeks prior to the event, no refund will be made. Any request for a cancellation must be received by email to us. If we are sourcing any items for your booking from a third-party supplier, we reserve the right to facilitate any of the third-party suppliers' terms and conditions should they differ to ours. It will be up to the stylist to point out to you if any items required for your booking will fall under this category at the time of cancelling your booking. In the very unlikely event that we are unable to attend your wedding/event due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or illness on the contracted date then you will be eligible for a refund. However, this will exclude the original deposit paid as well as any associated costs for bespoke personalised products specifically produced/ordered for your booking.

Our Liabilities

We will not be liable for any losses or expenses which you may incur as a result of the use of our products. Our service is provided in good faith and on the understanding that our products will only be used as intended. Lighting hire products will be delivered and installed as agreed by both the client, the Love Stories Events stylist and the chosen venue. The stylist will ensure that the product is fully functioning at a satisfactory level before leaving site and will take photographic evidence.

Loss And Damage of Hire Items

We will endeavour to remove any stains and repair light damage to hire items however in the event of any permanent stains, damage or missing items you agree to reimburse us for the cost of the item(s) and associated replacement expenses. Please be aware that this includes any items that may be damaged or lost by the venue or any other party holding the items on your behalf.

All items provided by us are for indoor use only unless stated otherwise on the booking form

Competition Giveaway and Imagery

We love to share images of our work on our social media pages from weddings and events as inspiration for our clients and may also use imagery on our website Any couples who enter into the competition, we reserve the right to take photos of the set up and behind the scenes photos/videos/reels to use for any of our future websites and social media pages. We will not tag you in these unless requested by yourselves to be tagged and we will not share any headshot photos unless consent is given by yourselves to do so. This is all we ask in terms of offering a competition to help us with promoting our work. If you wish to include any further styling outside of what is offered within the competition win, this must be a cost covered and payable no later than 6 weeks to your wedding date.
